The clinic has a scanner. It is useful for diagnosing various diseases, preparing for surgery, researching metastases... It is a very precise means of exploration.

An appointment for a scan can be made following a consultation with your veterinarian or following an orthopedic, internal medicine or emergency consultation.

This examination is non-invasive and without risk for the animal. Only anesthesia, necessary for the smooth running of the examination, can constitute a risk. Depending on the state of health of the animal, a blood test may be recommended beforehand in order to assess the anesthetic risk.

At the end of the examination, the animal remains hospitalized under surveillance and will not be released until the afternoon.

The veterinarian interprets the results and gives his conclusion when the animal is discharged.
